DO IT YOURSELF "makimono"(scroll paper)

You can make your own scrolls. A scroll is officially called a "kansu", and is the oldest form of a book, wound around a shaft.

In addition to experiencing traditional Japanese techniques, you can write pictures and letters on the scroll and use it as a picture scroll, or use it as a letter, a collection of stamp book (which can be used to record about 9 shrines), or as a record of your child's growth by stamping his or her handprint.
